Liesje Vanderes | Physiotherpist ARP, Dip Phys NZ

Liesje graduated from the New Zealand School of Physiotherapy and began working in Tauranga Public Hospital covering Paediatrics, Orthopaedics, Medical, Antenatal, Post Natal, ICU, Plastic Surgery, Rehabilitation and Outpatients.

Overseas experience; Liesje worked privately in France and Norway, and then in a large private hospital, The Maria Stichting Ziekenhuis in Haarlem, Holland, followed by a locum at the Jan Galge private practice, in Zwanenburg, Amsterdam.

On returning to New Zealand, Liesje worked at the Christchurch Public Hospital and Burwood hospital, covering all areas including the spinal unit. In 1982, Liesje started New Brighton Physiotherapy in Christchurch.

Moving to Adelaide in 1989, Liesje saw patients at Unley Physiotherapy and started  Flagstaff Hill Physiotherapy in 1990. Treating a wide range of conditions, Liesje specialises in orthopaedics, post operative rehabilitation, acute and chronic injury management and pregnancy. Assessing and treating patients of all ages with a hands-on approach, Liesje has a strong emphasis on manual therapy and exercise. Since 2000, Liesje has provided acupuncture with excellent results.
